'Sakhi he' at Contemporaneity, Toronto 2016

I performed my interpretation of the ashtapadi 'Sakhi He', based on the choreography of Guru Mayadhara Raut, which was taught to me by Ambika Paniker and Aloka Panikar, at the launch of Anandam Dancetheatre's 'Contemporaneity' at the Dancemakers studio in Toronto. The short solo was an attempt to unpack the layers within an abhinaya and understand the process of learning a traditional abhinaya.
